The Dimplex Optimyst Linear is a built-in water vapor fireplace that recreates an ultra-realistic 3D flame using a fine mist illuminated by LEDs. Available in 46″, 66″, and 86″, it integrates with zero clearance into a modern media wall, operates without venting, and can be plumbed for continuous use. Flame Connect (Wi-Fi) control, remote, and cool-to-the-touch surfaces — ideal for residential or commercial use in Quebec.
Optimyst Technology: water vapor + multicolored LEDs → realistic flames and “smoke,” cool to the touch.
Three Widths: 46″ / 66″ / 86″ to fit your media wall.
Integrated Comfort$aver Heating (proportional), Flame only or Flame + heat modes. Note: the 86″ model does not heat at 120 V.
Mandatory fresh air under the unit: dedicated opening (grille possible) for flame performance (80 / 120 / 160 sq. in. depending on size).
Clean Installation: standardized built-in design, optional ¼″ plumbing kit, 120 V plug kit available.
Power Supply: 120 V or 240 V (hardwired; optional plug kit for 120 V). Rated power and heating modes by model in the table below.
Safety: cool surfaces, overflow shut-off, flame and sound volume adjustment.
Type: Optimyst Linear built-in electric fireplace — vent-free.
Fresh Air: mandatory rear/bottom opening (see minimum area per model) — increase area if a grille covers the opening.
Electrical: 120/240 V depending on site; must comply with the Canadian Electrical Code; GFCI required in bathrooms.
