The Dimplex Optimyst Cassette RGB transforms any media wall into an ultra-realistic 3D flame using illuminated water vapor (patented technology). The 20″ (CDFI500-PRO-RGB) and 40″ (CDFI1000-PRO-RGB) modules are installed without gas or venting, can be connected in a continuous line, and are controlled via the Flame Connect app. Choose your flame color (RGB), add crackling sounds, and design a single-sided, 2-sided, 3-sided, or see-through fireplace — perfect for residential and commercial projects in Quebec.

Dimplex Optimyst Cassette RGB – Key Features

  • Optimyst Flame: water mist + LED → 3D flame & smoke, cool to the touch.

  • RGB Colors: 5 presets (orange, blue, purple, red, aquamarine) + custom colors via Flame Connect.

Dimplex Optimyst Cassette RGB – Performance & Comfort

  • Power: 120V electricity. (Standard no-heat operation; optional heating via direct-wire module.)

  • Consumption (cassette only): approx. 460W / 3.83A (ref. Opti-myst Pro, typical power values for the unit without heat).

  • Safety & Usage: no combustion, no emissions; ideal for home or business. Avoid drafts that disrupt the flame effect.

Installation & Compliance (Quebec)

  • Type: built-in Optimyst electric cassette (water vapor). No venting required.

  • Air Intake: provide unobstructed air intakes (top/bottom) depending on the design — grille accessories available.

  • Water: manual fill or continuous supply with plumbing kit.

  • Electrical: 120V circuit; must comply with the Canadian Electrical Code.

  • Market: PRO-RGB models for built-in installation; Retail versions (CDFI500R-RGB / 1000R-RGB) with integrated tanks also documented.

Maintenance & Warranty

  • Routine Maintenance: fill the tank, periodically clean nozzles/filters, keep air intakes clear.

  • Manufacturer Warranty: 2 years (Optimyst range reference).

  • Usage Tip: avoid supplemental air currents (HVAC vents, fans) that affect flame stability.
